WHO SHOULD I BELIEVE?
"For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid: yea, let God be true, and EVERY man a liar..." Romans 3:3-4
Did you catch that question posed by the great apostle and then the answer?!?!
You may ask; In a day when so many people are saying so many different things (the last days), what am I to believe? The answer for all who will endure to the end must be - God's eternal and unchanging Words.
Acts 17:10-11 reveals a monumentally important truth which every true disciple should me
ditate upon and put into practice. As the apostle Paul preached the Gospel to them, the Christians at Berea were referred to as "noble”...in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so."
Note the term "searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so." It is wonderful and inspiring to note that the Berean believers did not take even the great apostle Paul at his word, but weighed and tested what he spoke against the only Standard of divine truth, the "scriptures." Do you follow this, the Biblical pattern? God calls this practice "noble."
Please allow me to encourage you to study Acts 17:10-11 closely and prayerfully.
